Beautiful, but brutal
So I got the chance to go to Jackson Hole on Thursday for business. It was so pretty! The mountains are all covered with snow, the skiiers and snowboarders were flying down the slopes, it was sunny and bright--it was great! Of course, it would have been better if it hadn't been about 12 degrees, but you can't have everything, right?

A very big, exciting, scary change!
So, this is the end of an era for me, and it's quite scary! But at the same time, I'm so super excited! I have worked at Melaleuca for 6.5 years. They have been a good company to work for, but due to some changes in my life, the time came earlier this month for me to leave the company. I had been planning to do this, I just had originally planned to do it sometime this summer. I'm so excited to be able to work from home though & be able to spend more time with my family. With my previous work schedule, I wasn't able to go to alot of Josh's activities, and now I will be able to.
Whew..so I have to take a lot of deep breaths, because I don't do the whole change thing very well, but I am way excited abou this change!

A Very Happy Birthday Wish....
Okay everyone....this is Liza's friend, Jenni, making this post....because obviously she isn't going to let you all know it's her Birthday TODAY!!! (see what happens when you trust me with your password!:) Anyhow, I just wanted to wish Liza the happiest of Birthdays and to let you all do the same. So let's make a list here of all the wonderful things we love about our dear friend, Liza: 1. She is one of the nicest people I have ever known!
2. She is always so willing to help others out
3. She has been one of my best friends in the world for a very long time
4. She is willing to stand up for what she believes in
5. She really knows how to have a good time
6. Her sense of humor is so great....she can totally be so funny and not take herself too seriously

He's Home!
Josh got home from Germany last night! Yay! It was a long two weeks--I knew I'd miss him, but I was surprised at how much! And it had nothing to do with the fact that while he was gone I had to do all the shoveling myself...or at least it had little to do with that.
Josh had the rare opportunity this holiday season to go to Europe with his father and step-mother. We sure missed him and were sad that he wasn't here for Christmas, but I'm glad that he had the opportunity to make this trip. I had a hard time getting through work yesterday though, because I was so excited to get to the airport to meet his plane! He was scheduled to land at 8:38, but the plane was delayed because of the weather in Salt Lake yesterday. We got home about 11 pm and stayed up for about two hours looking at photos and seeing what he did while he was gone.
This is Josh's plane on the trip over.
When Josh first got to Germany, they went straight to Austria, where they spent 4 days, including Christmas. Josh thought it was great--3 days of skiing in the Austrian Alps!
Josh is in the red coat, and the two photos below him are his younger half brothers Ryan(in green) and Evan(in blue). Ryan is 9 and Evan is 7.

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a fun, terrific, and safe New Year's Eve and were able to spend the holiday with family & friends.
We always have a block party at our house on New Year's Day. This year was no different, as we again had our block party today. It was so fun to have so many of our friends and neighbors over today. I know they're the people who are my neighbors and that I go to church with most of them, but it seems as though we never have time to spend visiting. This is always such a nice afternoon where we can all just sit back and visit, eat good food that everyone brings, and spend time as friends and neighbors. It's always a good start to the New Year!!
