The Tree Came Down
Actually, only a branch of the tree, but it was enough to take down the power line from the transformer to the house, do some very minor shingle damage, and crush the riding lawn mower. I was sure we would be out of power for days, at least the weekend. After a call to Idaho Power, my new hero arrived in his white truck and fixed the line for us. So instead of being without power for several days, we were only without for a couple of hours, thank goodness!!! Of course, I documented all the drama of the day:
